The plenary session
The plenary sessions are the highlight of the parliamentarian work. This is the panel where heated debates on major issues, such as the Euro crisis, take place. The main tasks of the plenary are to discuss and vote on reports and motions for resolution. Additionally, the Commission and the Council of Ministers have to answer any question the Parliament poses.

Committee meetings
The committees draw up, amend and adopt legislative proposals and own-initiative reports. This is where you can find out what members of the European Parliament think about for example body scanners and other issues regarding air safety. Most of the committee meetings are by now web streamed, too.
